Philip Thang

Philip has a preaching and teaching ministry in Mandalay and Yangon, Myanmar. He believes God is calling him to share His blessed hope in Myanmar, at this critical moment for the country. He’s often asked to teach and preach at church youth camps. He is influential to many young preachers and is coaching a few good friends on reading and preaching the Bible. He’s preparing to initiate a small centre for preachers and teachers of the Word.

April 2026 Update:

Philip came back from Youth Camp on 17 April (photos below). He tells us it was an amazing experience, especially how the Holy Spirit worked with the youth group of about 60 young people. He took a 12 hour Bible teaching session! He was preaching on the book of Ruth. Philip says it was a great joy serving the Lord! He’s had great feedback since his return too.

You may remember we were praying about his home, after the 450 homes in his area had received eviction threats. He now believes they are safe since there is no more urgent news coming. Please thank God and pray this continues to be the case.
