Jelena Vilotijevic
Jelena is the head of the Women’s Ministry at the student organisation EUS Montenegro (IFES). Her time is spent mentoring young women, leading Bible studies, and giving talks, as well as helping to run camps, mission weeks, retreats, and women’s brunches.
She uses her Biblical counselling skills and gifting in drama and sport as ways to share the gospel; she also regularly utilises skills she developed while working as a ministry trainee at St Michael’s, such as running Alpha courses and kids’ programmes.
August 2026 Update
This summer, Jelena served at Camp Monty, a sports and evangelism summer camp run in her town Nikšić. A bunch of kids made decisions to follow Jesus, including Jelena’s nephews! The team are planning to do more follow up with them to disciple them in their faith.
Jelena has also been continuing her Women’s Brunch. They’ve been reading the Psalms and doing journaling exercises as a spiritual discipline.

Praise God for Jelena’s hard work and faithful witness. Her talk at a recent regional conference, and the mission weeks at universities, went well.

Praise God for one of Jelena’s previous mentees who is working on a translation of the New Testament into their language.
Praise God that Jelena’s nephews and nieces love hearing the Bible stories and ask her lots of questions
Praise God that the women’s retreat last year was popular, and that a wider team is forming to make this an annual event
