A message from Liz from Autumn 2025:
Thank you so much for the prayer rota and for praying for us, I have just realised that the day we were prayed for on October 11th was the day I was writing my student's quarterly school reports at home and I had an amazingly productive day, getting more reports completed and thinking up more comments than I expected to. Now I know why, since we were prayed for on that day! ;-) God is so kind to us as He answers the prayers of His people even in these seemingly insignificant events of our lives.
We'd love to give praise for Esher's acceptance at Bath University and that she received a student loan and that you were able to visit and Iona too! The float plane has also arrived in Uganda at long last -whoohoo! Tomorrow is a day when it will be presented to potential partners who may want to use MAF's float plane to reach isolated communities on Lake Victoria's islands. We're praying that it will be an effective tool that is well used to help bring God's word and love to the people of Uganda.
Andrew & Liz Parker
Andrew is a pilot for Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), flying light aircraft to bring help, hope and healing to people living in remote places, in Christ’s name. Liz teaches at the Christian International School in Kampala where their children Esther, Ben and Joel attend.
Andrew’s flights carry missionaries and NGO workers to all four corners of Uganda. They give vital support to their work with refugees from South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and to the less developed Karamoja region in the Northeast Uganda.
-
For MAF Uganda, that they will use their resources wisely to serve God’s kingdom in East Africa.
For peace in Uganda and its neighbouring countries, particularly eastern DRC and South Sudan.
For the Parker family as they juggle the demands of busy school and work schedules.
